This artwork is so beautiful. The colors look just as shown in the photos. It also arrived very quickly and already had the hanging hardware attached.
The lightest piece in the collection: an upright Kotel in off-white, pale grey and the faintest gold, with most of its height given over to open, luminous space.
Printed on a matte, fine-weave canvas and stretched over solid wood. The impasto look and the gold were made digitally and are part of the printed image, so the surface is smooth, with no raised paint and no glass between you and the colour.
Narrow stone shapes stack and lean against one another through the middle of the canvas, their edges softened as if seen through morning haze. Two or three of them catch a thin seam of gold; the rest stay in ivory, dove grey and a cool blue-grey that keeps the image from turning sweet. Along the bottom a line of small worshippers is sketched in a few vertical marks, easy to miss at first and hard to stop seeing once found.
Because there is so little dark in it, this is the canvas for a room that is already bright and should stay that way: white or limewashed walls, pale floors, a bedroom, a landing with a window. Hung tall on a slim stretch of wall it works almost like a second source of daylight. It is a favourite with lovers of light, airy rooms.

Eran Regev is the artist and curator behind KotelArtstore. Every piece is a digital work, made with AI-assisted tools under his own direction: the composition, the colour and the painterly texture are the result of his prompting, his selection and his preparation for print. Working digitally is what makes it possible to build a wall of stone in an impasto look one week and in near-monochrome restraint the next, and to print either one beautifully at any size.
