Beautiful artwork that exceeded my expectations!
The canvas looks great above our fireplace. Exactly what we were looking for!
Bring the quiet of a Jerusalem morning into your home with this neutral Kotel canvas, where ivory, sage and pale blue stone meets scattered champagne gold across an extra wide panorama.
Three times as long as it is deep, which is the shape the plaza in front of the Wall actually is. A square crop of this scene loses the thing that makes it: the width, the crowd spread along the base of the stone, the eye travelling the whole length before it settles.
The Wall is built here as courses of flat, weathered blocks, each one its own shade of chalk, taupe, stone grey and washed sage. A few catch a warmer light and turn to gold. Nothing is loud: the colour sits inside a narrow, muted range, and the wall keeps its order rather than dissolving into it.
Along the lower edge stand small anonymous figures, wrapped and still, drawn no larger than a single course of stone. They give the wall its scale, and they are the reason the piece reads as a place rather than a pattern.
The palette is the whole argument. Nothing in it is bright, so it settles into a contemporary or warm modern room rather than asking the room to make space for it.
Made for a long wall. Above a sofa, above a bed, along a hallway, over a console. Measure the space first, because even the smallest of these is wider than a standard canvas.
Available in three sizes, from 12×36 to 20×60. Printed on matte canvas, stretched over solid wood, brackets fitted, ready to hang.
What you receive
This is a panoramic piece, roughly three times as long as it is deep. It is made for a long wall: above a sofa, a bed or a console. Measure the space before choosing a size, because the smallest here is already wider than a standard canvas.
A physical canvas print, not a digital download.
- Printed on premium acid-free, pH-neutral, OBA-free fine-weave canvas (344 g/m²) for fade-resistant colour.
- Stretched over solid wood bars, 1.25" (3.18 cm) deep, gallery depth.
- Mounting brackets included, arrives ready to hang.
This is a digital painting print. The artwork was made digitally and never painted on a physical surface, so nothing here reproduces a canvas that exists somewhere else. The impasto look, brushstrokes and any gold-leaf effect are part of the printed image. The canvas you receive is smooth: no raised paint, no varnish relief, and nothing applied by hand on top of the print.
Shipping and production
Each piece is made to order by our production partner Printful and shipped from the United States. Production takes 2-5 business days, then 3-8 business days in transit within the US, and every order ships with a tracking number.
Framing
The listed price is for the ready-to-hang stretched canvas without an outer decorative frame. A wood frame can be added by request, message us with your preferred size before ordering and we will send the frame options and a quote.
How this artwork was made
Eran Regev is the artist and curator behind KotelArtstore. Every piece is a digital work, made with AI-assisted tools under his own direction: the composition, the colour and the painterly texture are the result of his prompting, his selection and his preparation for print. Working digitally is what makes it possible to build a wall of stone in an impasto look one week and in near-monochrome restraint the next, and to print either one beautifully at any size.
