Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

This page covers two things: the terms on which you may use this website, and what we do with the small amount of personal information the site collects, in plain, clear language.

Who we are

KotelArtstore is an independent art brand selling fine-art prints of the Kotel and Jerusalem. The shop is owned and operated by מנועי צמיחה בע״מ, a private limited company registered in Israel under company number 514797976, at 26 Baalei Melacha Street, Haifa, Israel. That company is the seller and the merchant of record for every order placed on this site.

You can reach us at support@kotelartstore.com or through our contact page.

Terms of use

Using this site

By browsing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

You may look at, link to and share anything published here. You may not copy our artwork, product photography or written descriptions for commercial use, republish them as your own, or use them to train a machine-learning model, without written permission.

Buying from us

When you place an order on this site you are buying from KotelArtstore, and we are the seller for that sale. Payment is taken here through our payment provider – we never see or store your full card details, which the provider handles directly.

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you an order confirmation, and a contract exists between us from that moment. If we cannot fulfil an order we will tell you and refund it in full.

Made to order, and by whom

Nothing here is held in stock. Each piece is printed, stretched and finished after you order it by our production partner Printful, and orders shipping to a United States address are produced in the United States. Printful receives your name and delivery address so that it can ship to you, and nothing else.

Because every piece is made for one customer, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We do replace anything that arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, at our own cost. The full position is on the returns page and forms part of these terms.

Prices, sizes and availability

Prices are shown in US dollars. The price on the product page is the price for the size and format you choose; shipping and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay.

We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price – a decimal in the wrong place – we may decline the order and refund it rather than honour it, and we will tell you why.

The artwork

Every piece sold is a physical print. We do not sell digital downloads. Textures such as impasto brushwork and gold-leaf effects are part of the printed image; the finished piece has no raised paint, metallic material or hand-applied texture.

Our artworks are created with AI-assisted tools under our own artistic direction, prompting and curation. We say so on every listing.

Not affiliated with anyone official

KotelArtstore is an independent art brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any official Kotel, Western Wall, Jerusalem, governmental, municipal, religious or heritage organization. Our artworks are artistic interpretations and tributes – they are not sacred objects and we make no claim otherwise.

Limits

We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or online without interruption. Colours on screen vary between displays; we aim for the closest match we can to the physical print.

Privacy

What we collect, and what we do not

This website collects only what it needs to sell you a piece and answer you:

  • If you place an order: your name, email address, billing address and delivery address. We need the address to have the piece made and sent, and the email to confirm the order and send you tracking.
  • If you use the contact form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. That is all – the form has no other fields.
  • Standard server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and requested pages, as every web server does, for security and troubleshooting.

We do not see or store your card details – those go directly to our payment provider and never reach this site. We do not require you to create an account in order to buy. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Why we hold it, and for how long

Contact form messages are used for one purpose: to answer you. They are kept for as long as it is useful to have the conversation on record, and no longer.

Cookies

WordPress may set a functional cookie if you leave a comment or log in as an administrator. We store one small note in your browser to remember that you have seen our terms notice, so it does not reappear on every page.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people read, which pieces they look at, add to the basket, check out and buy, and which links to Etsy they follow, so we can tell which pages work. It sets two cookies on this site, _ga and _ga_XKEEFQ414Z, which recognise a returning browser and its current visit. The data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. To stop these cookies, block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics altogether, install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We advertise on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, and measure which ads lead to visits and purchases. Microsoft’s advertising tag sets two cookies on this site, _uetsid and _uetvid, and records page views, additions to the basket, checkouts and purchases. When you arrive from a Google ad, Google’s conversion linker stores that ad click on this site in two cookies, _gcl_aw and _gcl_au, for up to 90 days, so a later purchase can be credited to the ad; Google Ads otherwise measures our ads through Google Analytics, described above. Google and Microsoft may also set their own cookies on their own domains. The data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. To stop these cookies, block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings. To control the ads you see, use Google’s ad settings and Microsoft’s ad settings.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, so we can find what is confusing or broken and fix it. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and uses them to build heatmaps and replays of individual visits. Anything you type into a form field is masked in your browser and is never sent to Clarity. Clarity sets two cookies on this site, _clck and _clsk, which recognise a returning browser and link its page views into one visit, and Microsoft may set its own cookies on its own domains. The data is processed by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, Clarity does not set its cookies.

We have turned on Google signals and Google’s advertising features in Google Analytics. Google may associate visits to this site with the Google accounts of visitors who have allowed ad personalisation, which gives us aggregated reports on age range, gender and interests, never about an identifiable person, and lets us show our ads again to people who have visited this site (remarketing), on Google and on sites that partner with Google. To stop this, turn off ad personalisation in Google’s ad settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Our shop runs on WooCommerce, which records how you reached this site, so we can tell which sources and campaigns lead to orders. It sets first-party session cookies on this site, sbjs_migrations, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_current, sbjs_first, sbjs_udata and sbjs_session, which hold the source, campaign and search term that brought you, the page you arrived on, how many pages you have viewed and the kind of device and browser you use. If you place an order, that record is stored with the order on this website. These cookies are not set if you have used the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the foot of the page or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, and using the link removes any that were already set.

If you play an embedded YouTube video, YouTube may set cookies at that point. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play, and we use their privacy-enhanced player.

Who else sees your data

  • Printful – our production partner, who prints and ships every order. They receive your name and delivery address so that they can make the piece and send it to you, and nothing more. They never receive your payment details.
  • Our payment provider, who takes the payment. Your card details go to them directly and are never held by this website.
  • Our hosting provider, who stores this website and its server logs.
  • Google, which runs Google Analytics and Google Ads for us and receives the record of visits and shop events described under Cookies.
  • Microsoft, which runs Clarity and Microsoft Advertising for us and receives the record of how pages on this site were used, as described under Cookies.

Your California privacy rights

If we run advertising or analytics tags, they may involve what California law calls “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never will.

You can refuse that sharing at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the foot of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser and takes effect immediately, advertising tags stop firing from that moment, not from your next visit.

We also honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a refusal without you having to click anything, and the footer link will tell you so.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@kotelartstore.com and we will answer.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this page

If we change anything material here we will update this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
