About

KotelArtstore is a home for contemporary art of the Kotel, the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Each piece is a fresh reading of the ancient stones, made for the homes where people live, gather and celebrate today.

The idea

The Western Wall has inspired artists for generations, from the painters and engravers of the nineteenth century to the photographers of our own time. KotelArtstore adds its voice to that long tradition: the same stones seen in an impasto style, in a gold-leaf effect, in quiet near-monochrome, or in free abstraction.

Each piece is an interpretation, a way of bringing the feeling of the place into the home. Something to look at every morning, to gather a family around, and to give when a new home is blessed or a new chapter begins.

Who makes it

I’m Eran Regev, the artist and curator behind KotelArtstore. The Kotel has been a source of inspiration for me for years. Its stones carry centuries of prayer, hope and connection, and they reward being looked at again and again.

Every piece begins with my own artistic direction: the idea, the style, the palette and the composition. I work with AI-assisted tools as my studio, then select, refine and prepare each image for print myself, until it says what I want it to say. I note this openly on every listing, because knowing how a piece was made is part of loving it.

From the studio to your home

Today the collection is printed on canvas, in a choice of formats and sizes. The same artworks are on their way to more of the home: pieces to live with and pieces to give, for the living room, the kitchen table and every occasion in between. Each new product joins the collection once it meets the same standard as the canvas.

How it is made

Every piece is made to order by Printful, our production partner in the United States. You choose a piece, a format and a size, and it is printed and finished especially for you: our canvas is acid-free, pH-neutral, OBA-free fine-weave canvas at 344 g/m², stretched over solid wood bars and shipped ready to hang.
